Can This Even Be Called Music? The slow, heavy, all-obfuscating riffs on ‘II’ are awe-inspiring and totally infect. The droning notes and dark chords bring a tangible and asphyxiating atmosphere to the composition, which is some of the best drone/doom metal I’ve heard in a long while!

Track Name: II
I. YES, I COMMIT TO THIS INEVITABLE PATH OF DESTRUCTION: SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES

Swords
Plowshares
Trees
Torches
Spears
Meathooks
Warships
Churches

II. THIS PLACE BRIGHTENS!

III. WELL, IT'S OVER: LICHENS
Following
Wallowing
Swallowing
Hollowing

It threatens to take me there
The trees to their roots return
It lays me down again
The fields watch their colors turn

I don't know which side they come at me from

IV. EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN: FLIES

Tract of dermis
Watery oculus
Beset with child

Attrition
Erosion
Overcome by feeding
Shell hosts life and declines

Walled in colony
Heaving
Consuming
A seething mass

Thresh in its lot
Stunted vultures
Death birthing life
